I'm assuming the pickup is an under the bridge Piezo type and if that is th=
e=20
case it sounds like it might have hurt the pickup when the string slamed in=
to it=20
after it came out of the tail piece.

If that is all what happened you are going to have to replace the pickup.

out while stringing. Now the volume on that string is noticeably lower than=

others when I play thru an amp. Sounds fine acoustically though.

Sounds like a major problem to me. Any ideas?
