I started out using Flat-wounds on this bass, when I first bought it =
& then switched to rounds. But, on this bass, I've found that I really like=
the tone of flats the best. So, I'm putting on Pyramid Golds this time aro=
und. I've used Chromes &, La Bella & Thomastik-Infield flats in the past.=
The Thomastiks have always sounded really awesome for a flat-wound string.=
But, I've heard so many good things about the Pyramid Golds. That I've wan=
ted to try them out. I've read that they take about ten days to break in th=
ough, but once they do! They're supposed to sound really good & last just a=
bout forever! Has anybody ever used these strings? I've read really great r=
eviews about these strings. I've read that Paul McCartney uses these string=
s also, along with a lot of other famous bass players, that like to use fla=
ts also!
