Which bass is your favorite bass to play & why?

This has been done before. But since nobody seems to ever post here too much these days, except for myself & Mark. So I'll throw this out there again & see what happens! My personal favorite bass, in my stable of seven basses, is my 1995 G&L L2500. It gives me just about any tone that I want. It's also pretty light for a five string also. I really love this bass & everything about it. Also while I'm at it, what bass rig or combo amp does everybody prefer & why also? I have two rigs, an Ampeg USA BA500 combo with a Peavey 210 Black widow cab. Thats sounds just like an SVT, but it's also very heavy! The one I've been using for the last year is my SWR Headlite head that weights in at 3.5 lbs & my two GK ultra lite 210 cabs, with each cab weighting in at 30 lbs each. At most gigs though, I onl
 y take my SWR head & one GK cab. Which make it easy for me to unload, set up & then get out of there easily after the gig is finished. For me these days weight is a very important thing, along with tone & versatility!
