YA MARK, I'm with ya. You can't go wrong with new strings

As a rule of thumb almost every bass comes factory with lousy strings anywa=
y.=C2=A0
=C2=A0
I personally use Daddy half rounds on the 6 and Fender Flats on the J but t=
here are a zillion and a half good ones out there. (Wounder where the facto=
rys get the crappy ones they ship?

hat weights in at 3.5 lbs & my two GK ultra lite 210 cabs, with each cab we=
ighting in at 30 lbs each. At most gigs though, I only take my SWR head & o=
ne GK cab. Which make it easy for me to unload, set up & then get out of th=
ere easily after the gig is finished. For me these days weight is a
