Hi Steve,

Many thanks for the information. That is a peculiar tuning. I think I'll =
adopt your approach and retune the sixth in.

  I have a double-sided Echo 96 in D/G which I suspect has the same layout =
as yours on the G side. 1-blow is G. The low end, bottom four holes, is tun=
ed like a blues harp, with the fourth note of the scale (C) missing, 2-draw=
and 3-blow replicated (D) and the sixth note (E) missing. Heaven knows why=
Hohner persist with this inconvenient tuning. I retune mine to put that mi=
ssing sixth back. The two octaves up from 4-blow are complete (I never real=
ly venture above this into the squeaky zone!). You do have to adopt a sligh=
tly different technique to play a tremolo accurately, but this should not b=
e too difficult to master considering you already play both diatonic and ch=
romatic and are therefore used to the different layouts on those.=20

ica. Unfortunately, I don't have the layout of notes - can anyone help?
