Gang,

I was curious how everyone practices. Is it kind of loose,
whenever you can kind of thing or do you have a regular time
with a set of workouts that you use? For myself, I don't have
a set time as my schedule bounces around but when I do
practice with the chord harmonica I try focus on rythym
and timing (sometimes using a metronome) and hitting
the chords dead on. Also, does anyone use any kind of
training materials like Richard Martin's "The Harmonica
Educator"? That, btw, is a fine publication.

Someone asked a few days ago about bass harmonicas.
Sorry, I don't have an answer for you. Don't have much
experience except to say that, if I remember your dilema
correctly, you didn't want to spend alot of money on a bass
till you were sure you wanted to continue with it. For me,
yes, I'd go with the less expensive model till I got a better
fell for it before spending the big money. I would keep in
mind that it may very well not perform as well as the better,
more pricey model.
