Petals.... Oh, Pedals!  See PDF file page 9 (manual page 7) Pedal Jack is
Volume control, Exp is expression controller, Hold and Link are foot
switches, although whether it is contact-made of contact-broken, it doesn't
say... I think a standard Roland footpedal works, that's contact made. Link
of course is Kawai's invention for setting up a chain of patches to step
through with a foot pedal, useful for live performances.
