K5 ROMs, more info from Kawai!

Kawai UK seems to be the only one caring about the synth. They still do 
ROM upgrades when you return your EPROM apparently, they have user and 
service manuals too. I also got some info about the changes 1.3 is 
bringing, *and I learned that 1.3 for K5m does exist. *I just asked 
Kawai if I could get the hex file for it so I could program V1.3 for the 
K5m.

We have the upgrade software to V 1.3 for the following models.  K1 - 
K1r - K1 ii - K1r ii - K4 - K4r - K5 (P19) K5m (P020) - XD5 - Q80.

The attributes of the 1.3 upgrade were listed by Kawai as follows:-

1.    Improved instrument speed.
2.    Enhanced compattibility with other MIDI instruments.
3.    Eliminates the problem found in older instruments, particularly K4 
which exhibited noise when playing with short ATTACK times.

We require the original EPROM to be returned for re-programming.
