Hi,

there are other issues like failing front panel buttons, but that can be 
fixed by putting drops of DeoxIT or Cramolin in the switches. The MIDI 
SysEx implementationis somewhat buggy, but you can fix that by using 
firmware V1.2 if your unit doesn't already have it.

The buttons are useful if you need to use multiple MULTI sounds, a MIDI 
program change command can only switch between the SINGLE patches. 
However, you can live with a single MULTI since you can edit it in 
real-time, and change the patches it uses. (Real-time editing is a great 
thing with the K5, you can change the parameters while a note is playing 
and you'll hear the changes)
