Hi E,
The first place you should go for assistance in creating combis
is to Paul Osborn's, "Combi Creation" tutorial. For sequencing
help, your best bet is to ask specific questions either here or over
at KLF. And I would most definitely recommend reading Stephen Kay's
FAQs. The PDF is bookmarked with questions followed by detailed
answers.
Setting up a particular Combi for sequencing is as simple as
simultaneously pressing "ENTER" & "REC/WRITE", then press "OK" and
you're away to the races. Of course there is much more involved,
but that will get you started.
As for reading the manual(s), you need to work through particular
sections right at the keyboard, experimenting and trying things out.
It's a waste of time to read the manuals away from the keyboard.
you need the hands on experience. The same goes for any of the
tutorials that are recommended - always at the Karma not the couch.
