Re: My first impressions of the OASYS

Hi Mike,
   I think a lot of us are in the same boat.  We have the bases 
covered, but we also have GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome).  Last 
year when the OASYS came out, I struggled quite a bit with my 
decision to hold off.  In some respects, I'm glad I did. Instead I 
opted for the V-synth XT which came bundled with Cakewalk's Project 
5 - super set up. However, being the KARMA-tech freak that I am, and 
having been tempted by my first session with the OASYS, I'll 
probably jump at it if I see one for $6k or so, even though the 
RAIDAS may be the wiser choice.  Of course that could happen too 
(would make a great partnership with the XT). BUT, the big issue is 
the possibility of the appearance of KARMA 2 or version thereof 
within any software that Karma Lab presents.  I guess it's a bit 
like batting - when to swing to hit the ball right on the money...no 
pun intended.
