This is why I insist on a factory-sealed box when I buy electronics. If
the store tells me they open all boxes to check for damage, I make them
order another with instructions not to open it. [B-)]

The retailers are lucky to get even one Oasys, so they're forced to use
it as their demo. Then, they won't discount it because it's an Oasys.
Have you tried Sweetwater

The biggest problem is all big online stores as well as regular stores have
the no argument return policy. For example, you buy from Sweetwater,
musicians friend or anyone else and you don't like the product. They take it
back, pack it back up and sell it as new. Look at how many guitars hang in a
music store for 3 years and they still try to sell it as new, even with the
scratches and chips. So basically, you have to specify you want new in box,
or you may get open box return sold as new. However, if you do and there is
nothing wrong with it, you can still complain and get credit back for open
box.
