Hi Robert,
I haven't had enough time on the OASYS to share any insights.
But, some of my explorations show there is a double edge to this new
beast. To be sure,KARMA 2 is so much more comprehensive than KARMA
1. A great deal of what you can manipulate is right there at the
controls or the touch screen. I tweaked one combi and changed it's
character to suit my tastes in less than 10 minutes. It was easy.
However, because K2 has much more to it than K1, I expect another
steep learning curve before I can really start programming with
confidence.
If you haven't looked at the interactive OASYS demos at Karma Lab,
you owe it to yourself to do so. Basically the demos show, what you
can access right from the touch screen - vastly superior to the red
Karma's amber display.
Now, back to finishing EJAZZ.... won't be long now.
Cheers,
Eric
