  You might have a karma problem but check your midi
connections and settings. A midithru can send signals
back to the origin and create chatter. One example might
be the motif performance sending on one channel that
gets picked up by the Karma. Reduce all midi connections
and isolate the Karma to make sure it does it on its own.
If so, I would start by reloading programs and perhaps
re-initializing the performances. If it does it in isolation 
from computers and other keyboards it is probably with
the karma. Trying one connection at a time might help.
I had similar problems in the past with midi thru settings
instead of out and in...

            I have a Karma which I bought last year. I also do have a roland XP 80 

and Yamaha motif One thing I observed about Karma is that, every time 

I change the programs, from one to another, it starts to have a 

stacato effect. But not with other brands. I think is the defect of
