Hi,
Welcome to the world of the "maroon monster" - this is possible. Just dial in your favorite combi, push and hold ENTER and push REC/WRITE. . it will ask you if you are sure you want to go into record mode. Hit the function key under "OK/yes" to you are all set. each track in the Sequencer is armed and loaded from the Combi.

This is the shortcut - there is a more round about way, too ; )

Thing is --- some combis have things on weird MIDI channels so loading a COMBI into the Sequencer kinda takes up several tracks (large COMBI = 8 tracks) and you then have to work around them to add more programs manually (in Sequencer Mode).

There are some tutorials in the links for this group -- and a WEALTH of information and access to Mr. K(ay)ARMA hiself over at www.karma-lab.com (pretty sure that's the link)

  Regards,
  Wayne/Seattle

I am pretty new to the KARMA and have not delved into manuals yet....

Can I have the Combi mode on and record the notes I play with the
internal sequencer ? Seems when I go into sequencer mode, I am in
preset instead of combi mode.....

Thanks
