Hello all,

I recently started working with a Karma owner who mentioned that a bunch of keys were dead, ever since the Karma had been shipped cross-country and the shipping box had collapsed. The keyboard was pushed down and back into the case a slight amount. I offered to open it up and take a look, and I found that three of the molded plastic standoffs on the bottom of the keyboard were broken. I removed the keyboard, cleaned the contacts on the boards under the rubber pads, put it back together and everything works. I'll try to describe the standoffs - these are the things into which the mounting screws attach through the bottom cover. There is a thin metal rod running the width of the keyboard with the individual keys and their related hardware mounted on it. Some, but not all, of the key mechanis
ms have these extended standoffs. It appears to be extremely difficult if not impossible to replace the individual standoffs without sliding off of the rod all the keys, mechanisms, etc. to get to the broken standoff, if it can even be done. Though the Karma works now, the keyboard is slightly loose and I think it's too fraglie to be used in a gigging situation. My question is, does anyone know if an entire keyboard section is available as a replacement assembly? I tried Parts is Parts but they don't carry anything this extensive. Are there Karma boneyards out there?

Thanks in advance. Any help would be much appreciated.

Chris
