K2500R Faceplate

I’m bringing a K2500R back to life. The front faceplate has some nasty scratches in it. I was wondering if anyone in the group might have a good faceplate for a K2500R that they are using for parts and would be willing to sell it. I emailed Alex Gotesman who seems to offer parts from time to time. He responded to my email saying he had one “Make me an offer”. I thought that was a little bit cryptic. I responded with an offer of $40.00. I had no idea what the value would be, but he never responded. I assumed he would respond with a price that he would accept. I sent another email stating that I was interested and please let me know what offer he would accept. He has yet to respond. So Alex if your still checking this list offering parts I’m still interested. I’ve read threads where people have said that they have gotten parts from him. If anyone reads this and would tell me how to deal with Alex please let me know what I’m doing wrong. If anyone here has a faceplate in good condition that they are willing to sell contact me.
