Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the synth family, and my new to me K2500XS. I'm sniffing around it slowly trying to learn some of the in's and out's of it. I have the Performance and Reference Guides, and find them a tad overwhelming. I wish there were easier documents for neophytes. I purchased the synthesizer to use as a practice keyboard.

At the moment I'm trying to understand why it behaves in a funny way. If I plug in headphones (and if I do, then I also need to unplug the monitors to get the headphones working) the slider volume control works splendidly. If I plug in the monitors the headphones do not work. And ... crazily, neither does the volume control. I'm guessing that this is normal, not sure why it would be this way. The monitors only work when connected to the 'A' output, and not on the 'B' or 'C.' Is it possible that I need to set an option somewhere to enable these outputs to work? I tried unplugging the headphones with the monitors plugged in, but that did not accomplish anything. I also did a hard reset, and that too did not change this behavior. The manuals did not shed any light on this, and thus, I turn to the support of this forum for assistance.

As you can tell, I am unfamiliar with my toy. Guidance and suggestions are most welcome!

 Cheers,
 Marco
