Axon ax 50 vs triple play

A person Fishman told me it is basically just the same technology. Does the wireless slow it down? I have an axon AX50 and a original axon rackmount, (Blue-chip, pre-TeraTech). The 50 is measurably  quicker and better to external sources.
I would like somebody to test the 50 versus the triple play.
