I bought the TriplePlay too after years of Synth/Midi guitar purchases that did not quite make the cut. I am very pleased with the FTP. I purchased the Kenton midi box and a Yamaha Motif rack and I'm very pleased with the results. I started out with the Tripleplay software and was impressed but wanted to be free from a loptop for performance and I bought the Kenton device recommended in the manual. This system works well with the Kenton box and external synth/sampler modules. I found that the Tripleplay software worked best with the 64bit version. For recording work using soft synth and samplers the Tripleplay software is excelent but for me using the Kenton box with external modules is the best option.
