Please excuse my belated reply ( because of endless Xmas and New Year snow drifts and as a result no wireless internet)
My observations;

Caveat;  I am a confirmed Ztar player, and also have Roland pitch to glitch systems and an Axon AX100 pitch to glitch.. Having said that;.
1) I can't see why I would buy this instead of a Fishman Triple Play and a FC-1 Floor Usb unit (at less than a third of the price) and just slap the Fishman system on some of my guitars. (with a lot of extra transducer holders) and play my many synths via midi, as well as use the excellent Loom, Hybrid3 and quite nice Fishman soundfonts,  and other interesting laptop synths on my laptop when I want to.?  Best of both worlds?  Also, relatively cheaply, I could mess about a bit with the seemingly quite interesting Fishman software if I wanted. 

2) The tracking might be OK for tapping (which I do to total exclusion of right hand picking, (or  rather, I  play always with two hands on the neck as a Ztarist ))    But it won't ever do multiple notes or even chords  per 'string' which the Ztar does faultlessly.  I recognise that it's not trying to be a Ztar, but it covers no new midi-geetar ground (for me) and it's regressing rather than evolving..  

Smart textile necks, like  little bendable multi-note-per string Ztar switches,   meet a sensibly implimented smart Quneo-type right hand trigger surface,  (maybe like the SynthAxe r/h trigger assembly)  would be a far better way to go, for me.  But that's just a personal unrealisable dream, and shall probably always be so. 
  3)  The used voices were unfortunately seriously appalling to my ears and very weedy..  Where were the awesome and wonderfully vast layers (can it layer or map sounds /midi channels, to zones?)   
The legato and hammered notes were demo'd fairly well, as were the attack voices and triggering, but very few audible string bends were in evidence..  Where were the wonderful pedal steel Jerry Donahue-type sounds and sustained bent-harmony string bends. ?

4) A dedicated controller whilst being essential for the system is IMO merely regressing.  I know that this was not a pro demo, just a load of messing about (and it shows) but to my eyes and ears, the Fishman does it all so much more elegantly (and at a much cheaper price point) and I already have far too many guitars.
