Hi Phil.. Thanks for the tip. I would give Jam Origin another go, but how can it layer for example, without say a Yamaha or similar rack interface that takes one channel in and derives parallel high and low note ranges and assigns them to other  midi channels??  Like the Kieth McMillen guitar, one midi channel out sounds like the 'old days' to me, as I suppose would Fishman triple-play, if it only sent on one channel.  I recognise that deriving useable midi info from a single jack lead is a great accomplishment, but IMO a useable and inspiring midi guitar system is much more than that, and it's not just a tool to derive readable scores and a single voice from.. regards richard  bg (Bulgaria)
