Yamaha EZ-EG and G10 Further Questions

I purchased an ez-eg after our last discussion and it is a great within 
its bounds, definitely worth every penny if you dont use the onboard 
crap.

I have some trouble interfacing it to my Yamaha Motif XS8 for which I 
want to standardize on with patches as it has great Oberheim patches 
available.

Questions
===========

1) I would expect that I need an intermediate midi controller between 
XS8 and EZ-EG. If so what is the best value for money intermediate 
recommended.

2) Unlike other Yamaha keyboards, the XS8 unfortunately does not have a 
breath controller. I therefore will have to use a USB breath controller 
and from what I saw there are some that can do breath control after the 
keyboard midi, sort of a post process.

3) So, what is the less strenuous and high quality solution that you can 
prescribe. It is truly a jungle finding an optimum solution for;

midi guitar ++> Intermediate (PC or Dedicated Controller) <++ Yamaha 
Motif XS8 <++ Breath Controller


Also, I will keep the ez-eg, but I will not invest in more expensive 
switch based midi guitars. I definitely will move to a Yamaha G10, and 
will keep the ez-eg as it is a better neck for classical pieces. 
Classical pieces do not need string bends and such so I am a happy 
camper. I really prefer the feeling of strings below my fingers than 
switches.

For Fusion, the G10 seems to be the ultimate (IMHO).

4) Is the G10 pitch2glitch or is it fret-triggered by the strings ?
Strange that I battle to find much info on the G10. From the manual it 
seems it is an ultrasonic fret detection system and therefore not 
pitch2glitch.
I have an AX-100 and while great, glitches too much.
