Ax100+Motif

I am not good at midi interconnects.

Anyone can give me some pointers how to use voices from Yamaha Motif XS8 
with an AX-100 ?
I am not sure how to make it work to see the motif voices as patches in 
the ax-100 or if I need an intermediate pc to do it.
