But that could typically be these metadata bytes that are inserted
outband, in the http flow, as per shoutcast spec. It’s very common in
mp3 and aac, much less in flac, but appart from the interval where these
bytes are transmitted (should be larger for flac), nothing says it
cannot work. That was a part of that discussion a while ago, no?
