When I find a flash drive I will try.  I have taken the same drive,
connected to my laptop, scan its library, and play from LMS running on
laptop.  And the problem track plays fine via touch.  I realize this
doesnt address possible power issues via Pi.

At this point I want to try new Ethernet cable.  Ordered from Amazon. 
Though that does seem unlikely given track specific issues.

Im wondering if some files may have picked up minor flaws when I
transferred last time.  And full LMS on laptop as well as iTunes can
play through but not squeezelite &#129300;
