Haven’t had time to do as suggested.  But had a thought.  I’m playing
lossless files ripped from CD.  Maybe the file size has something to do
with it?

I did try a cheap PC with only 4GB running windows 11 and had same issue
with the problem files.

They had played fine on my Microsoft pro laptop with 8GB.
