Yeah I have found that the issue is that the Wiim was connecting to a remote node in my mesh network. It was tricky to resolve, as the Wiim doesn't have an option to reset the Network, even following a reboot. So I had to turn the Mesh off and connect the Wiim to a different wifi network by resetting it - the wifi settings are not cleared by a factory reset so this took me a while to figure out. I also just found out that my TP Link deco have a firmware update that would allow me to map devices to specific nodes in the Mesh network, which would probably have been easier to do if I had upgraded earlier.
