This is very much a long shot, pure speculation, not based on any actual experience or knowledge: What's the current setting for the "Group Discs" option, under Settings/My Music? Usually running latest beta LMS nightly on Raspberry Pi OS with virtual players (Squeezelite and Airplay bridge).
