Mike, I haven't seen this problem before... Do you see it on any particular channel(s), or is everything fuzzy? Does it do it even when the player is sleeping? Is the power supply grounded? If so you might want to try un-grounding it, if possible. The only ground path should be between the player and the receiver, over the RCA cables.
