=) I agree with the below comments Bob. I don't think it would be safe either, there was discussion months ago about writing to MP3s before, and it wasn't a wanted thing. However, the thought was there, and was mentioned. I also don't want my Slimp3 software constantly hitting the network for these images. Those that pay for bandwidth (Such as owners and operators of Networks) like to keep the bandwidth usage to the necessary. Example, most peer to peer software doesn't utilize bandwidth efficiently. Kaaza for example, sends a lot of data back and forth, even if you aren't uploading or downloading. My listening to music shouldn't have to keep getting the data from the net. Also, once downloaded, say into a separate file/cache, there is no way to make that data portable with the MP3, so when I move/copy my MP3's to a new server, or mirror, the data is left behind with the Slimp3 Server data. Yet, I probably want that data in my MP3's. Perhaps a tool (script) could be written that Power Users could run that would insert the Album covers into the MP3's if they so choose. A much better solution I think. =) ChriS At 11:16 AM 2/18/2003 -0800, you wrote: >Chris Saunders wrote: > > > Also, would it be possible to insert the album art into the MP3 after > in it > > downloaded.
