I was thinking of having the display program act like a 'pass-through' SliMP3 - the SliMP3 would be pointed at the displaying computer, not the server computer. Then the display program would forward all packets to the server, and also parse the VFD commands. There are a couple issues, though: + What OS will the 'displaying' computer be running (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc) + Will it be the same computer as the server is running on? That would complicate things. I *really* need to improve the VFD part of the emulator - it was enough for server 1.5 (no custom characters), but not enough for the current server. - Jacob -- "Terminak #3 has bad keyboard.
