Ok, thanks. Go ahead and remove that symlink.

I think we're going to have to build the HiRes module it for your
system. Would you be willing to help out on this?

Why do you think Perl thinks it's
'i386-linux-thread-multi' ?

Because it uses that string to calculate the path in the arch
subdirectory for your system for the modules that we build to be
included with the release.

Here is the result...

[root@cartman SliMP3_Server_V2.0]# Can't load

BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./server.pl line 60.

Here is some other background info...

Running RedHat 7.2

upgraded Kernel to "2.4.9-13" (via RPM upgrade)

installed "perl-5.6.1-24" via RPM

Why do you think Perl thinks it's 'i386-linux-thread-multi'
?

Hmmm...

It seems that you are on a platform that we haven't seen before.

That HiRes.pm needs to be compiled for each platform.

It appears that perl thinks your platform is
i386-linux-thread-multi

which we haven't seen before.

Can you do this:

cd /usr/local/SliMP3_Server_V2.0/lib/CPAN/arch/

ln -s i386-linux i386-linux-thread-multi

and start the server again?

Then let us know how it goes...
