I seem to be able to make it stop at will. If I go to my "Full Albums" directory (which has 298 subdirectories and no mp3s in it) via the web interface or the remote control, traffic between the server and the player immediately becomes all 182-octect packets, instead of the alternating 1418-octet and 18-octet packets of normal playing. After it reads the directory (which is mounted off of my Win2k box, which actually has all the MP3s on it), there is a flood of 1418-octet long packets, and then it goes back to the continuous stream of 182-octet packets (and no sound plays). Anyway, I kind of think that if I were running the server on a faster box (instead of this p100 that I had laying around), then it wouldn't do this. Confirm or deny? Enlighten?
