I'd like to use the SLIMP3 with a Pentium 75 laptop for use in an RV. (...to be semi portable between the RV and a real house ;) ) The RV has regular household outlets, etc. There's a mini-stereo in there that sounds quite pleasant in an RV - just doesn't have room to hold a few hundred CD's ;) . Assuming the laptop is configured to immediately boot up the SLIMP3 server, etc, how does the SLIMP3 "receiver" respond to being powered off and then powered back on (once it has already been configured)? If the laptop takes 50 seconds to boot up, what happens if the SLIMP3 turns on first, does it wait and "listen" for the SLIMP3 server ? Also, if I place this in Random Mode, to which point does it always return to, if it ever gets powered off ? Will I need to always press the Random key - or is there a "memory" that starts it right up in Random mode next time ? Also..I've seen the pictures, but what are the actual dimensions of the SLIMP3 "receiver" ? Thanks in advance! ------------------------ Yahoo!
