Chris,

When you have multiple SliMP3s, each one operates indepently of the
others - you can have different music playing on each one.

At first I was thinking that <10ms synchronization would be too difficult,
but having given it some more thought, it seems do-able. We were talking
about this a couple weeks ago on the dev list. Basically we just need to
fill all the players' buffers, and then send a synchronized un-pause
command to all of them, perhaps using a broadcast.

Another feature we've talked about is being able to transfer state
from one player to another. This would let you move from one room to
another, and take your current playlist with you.

I'm almost certain that both of these features will be implemented in a
month or two, although they're not the higest priorities right now.

Bandwidth-wise, 10mbps is no problem for three or four players. Of course,
it doesn't make sense to buy standard hubs any more - I just picked
up a 16-port 10/100 switch for $160. It's amazing how cheap this stuff is
nowadays.
