Oh, well, then I guess you'd know. :-)

There's nothing listed in the login items related to the SLIMP3.  Is 
there supposed to be?  I see the preference pane, but that's about it.

Well, I didn't very often, since I leave the computer running all the 
time.  When I did have to restart for one reason or another, I just 
manually started the version 3.0 server.
