Editing a playlist

I'm sure I'm missing something simple here, but how do I modify a saved 
playlist?

More precisely, let's say I've created a playlist using the web 
interface. At some later date, I want to add some songs to the list. 
How do I then save the playlist with the original playlist name? If I 
try to save it with the same name, the software tells me the name is 
already in use. What I've been doing is giving the new list a new name, 
deleting the old list, and then renaming the new list, but there's 
gotta be a more elegant solution.
