I've tried that with no success. There seem to be little logic all of a sudden. This is how the END of my LAST page looks like now: ---- You can't change me - Roger Sanches from -Singles- by Roger Sanchez You're not alone - Olive from -Singles- by Olive +Jan03 (folder!) Bullet in the gun 2000 by Planet Perfecto Don't call me baby - Madison Avenue by Madison Avenue Feb02 (folder!) Monkey - Therese by Therese Monkey (stonebridge) - Therese by Therese ---- And what's with the Song - Artist by Artist layout? Looks like the Title Format is not really correct for the Olson skin!? And why does it sort songs with the Album tag, before songs without it? I would like to see that you could choose how songs are sorted in the Browse Music Folder mode... Hmmmmmmm, wouldn't it be good if that server automatically sorted the list depending on the selected Title-format for the player. If format is TITLE - ARTIST, sort on TITLE, then ARTIST If format is ARTIST, TITLE, sort on ARTIST, then TITLE... Aahh, that would solve my misery!! :) I've been experimenting with setting the Albums tag to "-Singles-" so I could use the Browse Album feature... but I think I'll give up that :) rgds /andreas >-----Original Message----- >From: Rob Funk [mailto:[email protected]] >Sent: 17 February 2003 20:09 >To: [email protected] >Subject: Re: [slimp3-users] sorting directories at top! > > >[email protected] wrote: >>when browsing music folders, the subfolders get lost among all songs >>because they are sorted with them. > >Just rename the folders with a prefix so they get sorted at >the top.
