I had RAM corruption issues on my DX7 Mk1 (without E! board) and they turned out to be caused by the PD signal from the power supply not working correctly. This signal puts the RAMs into a safe state if a power down is detected. The faulty component was ZD1 on the DC board. This is a 6.2V Zener diode. Any 500mW 6.2V zener should work.
