I was = going to buy a Roland UM-One, a simple USB to MIDI cable, but the store = was out of stock. I ended up getting the mystery brand box from Amazon, = which is a 4 In/4 Out box which is supposed to do some routing and MIDI = merge, as well as simple In and Out. I plugged it in, and the Powerbook = saw it immediately. It works for the simple In and Out, I haven=E2=80=99t = had occasion to try any of the routing or merge options.
