Somehow Yamaha expected that this expander would be used by experienced =
owner=E2=80=99s of DX7 II D, but still it=E2=80=99s different. Even =
detailed MIDI implementation was missing in the manual, I remember my =
reverse engineering of Sysex control (successful, how I could after many =
years when finally I have found a printed copy in Yamaha Europe HQ =
during one of my visits there). And DX7 II D manual was also not too =
informative, so later they published all those Supplemental booklets.
