Yes, that works for me too=C2=A0 - now I know what to do.=C2=A0 I've been =
over and over that part of the manual, and it just doesn't explain how to s=
ave it, as far as I can see.=C2=A0 I've lost every attempt at editing, befo=
re knowing to do that.=C2=A0 It had taken on a bit of an unexploded bomb fe=
eling.

I did find a bit about restoring the edit buffer, from the utility menu, b=
ut it didn't explain what would happen if I did - I fully expected to find =
myself back in the edit mode, still without any way to save it.=C2=A0 I did=
n't want to try doing that, because I'd left it in edit mode, rather than l=
ose another attempt at altering a patch.

Now I've got a TX802 in front of me, the manual seems lightweight and woef=
ully inadequate.=C2=A0 I've read manuals for other Yamaha FM synths I own, =
and never had that feeling before.
