Hi Cesar........sounds like you live in Rio de Janiero, or in that vicinity. How exciting! I've never been there. I lived overseas as a child--------I was in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and in Paris............I go to London as often as I can--------love it there! Next time I'm there, I'll have to look for some Jamiroquai memorabilia.....some of the record stores might have, for instance, a biography on the band, and on Jay himself. His mother, Karen Kay, was a jazz singer in the U.K............I tried googling and couldn't find anything about her. Of course, their website is pretty informative.........so keep in touch, and everyone else out there------keep writing opinions and whatever else. Anyone out there like Manhattan Transfer? Cheers, Cesar From: don bowman Cesar, I'm right with you. Jay and the band , I'm sure, are far more accessible on the European continent than here stateside. I certainly don't think you're unpopular for stating so. It's good to be writing threads and opinions again-----I was wondering what had happened. I have yet to even see the band perform on TV, let alone see them live. The DVD side of my "Dynamite" CD was certainly informative------it was great to hear Jay talking, and watching him make the "Feels Like It Should" video. Watching the movie "Napoleon Dynamite" sealed the deal for me as far as Jamiroquai......I was hooked. And they have a fan base as far as Chile and Argentina..........totally awesome! So listen everyone, keep writing and keep enjoying this band.....I do, and I'm in my 40s. I'm waiting for Jamiroquai to come to San Diego.....someday, I hope.
