NAKED JAY

The episode of cookery show The Naked Chef, where 
Jamie Oliver cooks for the band will be shown on 
Austrian TV channel ORF1 on Friday 25 October at 
00:05 and again at 05:20. 


COMPLETE ODYSSEY
----------------
Sanity (Australia) is listing on their web site a 5
CD release called "Complete Odyssey". This is a box 
set of all 5 Jamiroquai albums and is listed for 
release on 08 November - conveniently just as the band
visit Australia for the second time this year.

SPEND A DAY WITH JK
-------------------
This news item is almost too late to be put online 
but someone may benefit from it - BBC television show 
Top Gear will be filmed on Wednesday (23rd) somewhere 
in England (I don't know where) and the producers of 
the show would like to invite fans along to spend the 
day with Jay and the Top Gear team. For more 
information call Austin O'Carroll from the Top Gear 
Audience Research department on 0208 324 2700. If 
anyone does get to go along then please let us know 
how it went.


STAR IN A REASONABLY PRICED CAR

Jay will be taking part in a feature called "Star In 
A Reasonably Priced Car" on BBC car television programme 
Top Gear on Sunday 27 October at 20:00 on BBC2 (UK). 
According to the Top Gear site, "each week, Top Gear's 
studio guest will be handed the keys to our spectacularly 
good-value Suzuki Liana to try to post the fastest lap 
on our test track."

CANNED HEAT - 9TH GREATEST VIDEO

Canned Heat has just been placed at number nine in a 
coundown of the "100 Greatest Videos" run by MTV 
Australia.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMIROQUAI
-------------------------
On 19 October 1992 record stores in the UK put on their shelves 
a new CD by a band called Jamiroquai. When You Gonna Learn, 
released on the Acid Jazz record label crept into the UK 
singles that week at number 52. Ten years and five albums 
later the band are nearing the end of tour that has kept 
them busy for the past 16 months and are just about to 
release their first ever concert video. Let the Funk 
Odyssey continue...

LIVE IN VERONA DVD

The official site has now announced the Live In Verona DVD 
that will be released in the UK on 11 November. The release 
promises multi-angle content, full digital surround sound 
and many other extras.
