How I found Jane

I watched the "One More Colour" video when it first came out.... 1985??
Then I went to find the album... listened to it  constantly, and have
been an avid fan ever since...

I once met Jane on Queen St in Toronto...actually 1989. She and Wolfgang
were out for a drive.. she got out of her car , a red Corolla, and got
Wolf out from the back seat. She told him to "stay" in front of the
coffee shop she was going into. I followed her, and asked her for her
autograph. I remember she was wearing a long black coat and a huge black
hat. She very nicely gave me the autograph.. and asked me my name. When i
said "Alyson" , "with a "y", she said, oh, yes, you wrote to me once. I
just about dropped through the floor! I said, "you remember THAT??). she
nodded, I said thanks and that was it.

I have met her after different concerts since then. She is still my very,
very, favourite singer/songwriter.
