Re: The end?

As well, I read about the selling of guitars and harps with some
delight, then it hit me...what the heck is she doing?  I'm a bit more
concerned now.  I'm also wondering how we'll be able to introduce our
friends and family to Jane, if our friends and fam don't all have iPods.
 I will truly miss the feel of the new Jane cd, wrestling with the
envelope/box on the walk from the mailbox to my home, finally stopping
on the front porch to take a car key to that danged plastic, and
relishing the feel of the case/sleeve, adoring the photo/art on the
cover, pulling out the cd to see the art/photo on the cd itself,
scouring the liner notes, the 'thank you's', the message from Bessy or
Mildred or Tunda or whomever, then finally, after lingering with the
trappings, I pop the cd in the player and am transported somewhere with
you all.  

Wow.  Who knew I'd get weepy at work on a boring Thursday morn?  The
weather was great walking to work, played 'The Walking and Constantly'
thru the gravel parking lot (is that a bird?), humming the chorus to
myself and the trees.  Oh yeah, and the gravel.  

I, just like you all, wish her only the best.  I'm hoping that the 'pay
as you please' works for her, and she's able to continue her journey,
and not have to sling hash for studio time.
