Ciao Y'all, Another movie recommendation, following upon my recommendation of Guy Maddin, now for: "Hanging Garden," which also is Canadian, set in Nova Scotia, with more Northern guilt, sometimes afflicted by mini-statues of the virgin Mary which roll their eyes in disapproval, a major concern with gayness-- and this time a tad less OT 'cause there's one song by Our Jane on the soundtrack. I didn't recognize it (he said with a touch of Northern Guilt), it had the word "spring" in the title. It's about a dysfunctional family, very well done, professional, with good use of music and soundtrack-- and a remarkable use of concrete symbolism. I found it at Netflix. Seek it. Meanwhile, Have a groovy seasonal whatever, complete with a major pile of goodies beneath a festive tree, -- hugs all around, Bruce PS Of course Issa gets royally annoyed when I refer to her as "Our Jane." She told me this in a dream last night, but I just do it anyway... It's a fool's prerogative, I say. PPS I wish my Xmas were white! I hate these winters w/o winter. I may have to drive up to Quebec, to get some bona fide winter. Zut alors.
