Another movie recommendation, following upon my recommendation of Guy
Maddin, 
now for: 
"Hanging Garden," 
which also is Canadian, set in Nova Scotia, with more Northern guilt,
sometimes afflicted by mini-statues of the virgin Mary which roll their
eyes in disapproval, a major concern with gayness-- and this time a tad
less OT 'cause there's one song by Our Jane on the soundtrack. 

I didn't recognize it (he said with a touch of Northern Guilt), it had
the
word "spring" in the title.
