I listened to this for the first time in ages for SoJ.  I really liked
the Holly Cole song, Please Come Home ...  Although much more of an
interpreter than a writer, we've really enjoyed Holly's records over the
years and especially around that time.  She also did a whole Christmas
album herself (very different from Jane's).

I really appreciated Jane's comment once about writing Are You Burning
without reference to any particular religion/creed, just something that
*everyone* could sing.
